Today we sit down for a "Vlad-style" interview with Strange Case! The 5-man group all grew up in the Southern Californian area, with key members from Newbury Park, California. Led by core front runners Mikey Netka & Zane Vandevort, this “Surf n Turf” style band captures the modern beach-pop sound as good as anyone on the coast.

Strange Case was making big noise when I first started UNDRGRND, with clips of house party shows in Isla Vista going viral—it reminded me heavily of the high energy & no f***ks attitude of XXX or Lil Pump in the SoundCloud era at the time. Their hit single “27 Club” broke them into proven popularity, with the track hitting over 1.2M (yes, million) on Spotify to date.

This Issue 7: “Scenes Collide: Part Two” Exclusive Cover 4/5 (Strange Case x Sitting On Stacy) is also our very first time featuring no hip-hop artists on a mag. We’re trying to grow & expand into different universes, so I really appreciate Zane, Mikey, & everyone in both camps for coming together for this historic issue.
