Gyrvin is a 26-year-old artist manager born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. He is relatively new to the industry, as he is currently in his managerial official position, representing Victorville, Calif. stand-out rappers, YG Dreamz and Playdeville.

A graduate of the James A Foshay Learning Center, Gyrvin first fell in love with hip-hop through listening to artists like Nipsey Hussle, Shoreline Mafia, Dom Kennedy, and Ice Cube. He tells UNDRGRND that his favorite moment in his career so far was when YG Dreamz & Playdeville performed at the 2022 Urban Con at the Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

When away from his managerial duties, Gyrvin works in a warehouse and enjoys hitting the gym and playing soccer with his homies. As a side note, Gyrvin and I actually shared the same exact favorite movie: "The Town", starring Ben Affleck & Jeremy Renner—if you like bank robbery movies set in Boston, go watch it.

Gyrvin is just a couple years into artist management, and right now it is clear that his obsession with hip-hop and loyalty to his artists are his strongest two assets. Tonight, Gyrvin and I sit down for his first ever on-camera interview, and discuss his thoughts on how artists can improve their promo game, & his ultimate dream of throwing a large scale hip-hop festival that can compete with Rolling Loud.
