Today we link up OHNO, a 26-year-old out of the Los Angeles/Orange County area. OHNO has been gaining momentum amongst bilingual audiences for over half a decade, and signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2021. Upon penning in his deal, OHNO became the first artist of Mexican descent to sign with the mega-label, home also to the likes of Justin Bieber, Pusha T, Big Sean, Rihanna, and more. OHNO has a natural ability to blend genres, languages and fanbases. Speaking fluent Spanish in English, he constantly treads the balance between the two as he navigates his way into the mainstream music world. In late December 2022, we saw the release of "Birthday Present," a track EP released primarily on YouTube and SoundCloud.

In this discussion, OHNO and Andrew of UNDRGRND talk thoughts after being with Def Jam for over a year, OHNO's Spanish versus English songs, how he generates multiple streams of income, and painful tattoo stories. He even surprises Andrew with an 805 b*mb, and shares stories of performing at Oxnard's Fresh Mex back in the day (we gotta run that back).
