De'Amante Cane ("Deo Cane") is a 23-year-old artist born in Galveston, Texas but raised in Newbury Park. Deo's versatile ability to mix slower flows with straight-up rap is an homage to some of his musical influences: Michael Jackson, Logic, and Cordae. The Newbury Park High School alumnus dropped his debut solo album, PTA (Part Time Artist), in September 2020, which featured fellow-805 artists Kid Chxp, Pofsky, Belle, and more. Deo rounded off the year with an impressive music video for hit-song “Warfare,” setting the stage for a successful 2021 in the music game.
Deo was one of the standout performers at our UNDRGRND Magazine release events, and owns the rights of being the first ever artist to start a mosh pit on the UNDRGRND stage. In addition to rapping, he is a talented music producer and engineer, having spent time learning from Newbury Park’s Steven Callan (“Kid Chxp”) and Gabriel Acevedo (“GMBEATZ”). As he builds his rap career, Deo works at Vans to bring in some extra cash while on the come-up.
