Eddie SCLA

Issue 13

Hometown: South Central, Los Angeles

Eddie SCLA is a South Central, Los Angeles native who has been making music for 10 years. The Cancer tells UNDRGRND that his biggest music influences growing up came the way of Nipsey Hussle, Tupac, Kendrick Lamar, as well as some East Coast legends like Biggie & J Cole.

Since beginning to drop solo tracks through streaming platforms in 2022, Eddie has been consistent. A follow up to his debut tapes My Crazy Life & Money Route, Eddie released his most recent EP — South Central Hall Of Fame — in late 2024. The 6-track project showcases no features, and is UNDRGRND’s choice for Eddie’s most impressive piece to date.

Outside of music, Eddie is an entrepreneur. In addition to his new burger vendor business, Eddie is the founder and operator behind ‘Brokeone$’ — an up and coming LA streetwear brand (Eddie is wearing some of his own clothing in this mic drop video).

In his free time, Eddie tells UNDRGRND he enjoys watching Boyz n the Hood (1991), and supporting his Los Angeles Lakers.
