Endless

UNDRGRND Issue 5 “The Central Coast”

Representing the northern 805 beach town of Morro Bay, Endless (born “Eric Donnelly”) has been spitting raps for over two decades. At 36 years old, Endless is amongst the top “hip-hop purests” in the UNDRGRND community, drawing clear inspiration from the likes of E-40, Brotha Lynch Hung, Celly Cel, and other vintage rap icons from California.

Endless is a book of knowledge when it comes to the Central Coast music scene. He grew up with popular San Luis Obispo-based band Wordsauce, and knows just about anybody in the underground music scene north of Santa Barbara. Aside from dropping consistent music, the Morro Bay High School alumnus has exceptional marketing IQ. His cover arts and music videos are unusually high-quality for an independent artist, leading to impressive roll outs one can’t help but pay attention to. He is a natural networker and communicator, and a great energy to have in the studio.

On Christmas Day 2020, Endless released his most recent album, the nine-track Let It Be Known, recorded primarily at Sauce Pot Studios in San Luis Obispo. The project showcased his lyrical talents and his insistence of top-level production.

Endless told UNDRGRND his favorite local producer is DJ Mix Mangla (who performed with Endless at the Issue 5 release concert in December 2021) and says his go-to engineer is Eric “EMortal” Mattson. Away from the mic, Endless enjoys eating at The Hidden Kitchen in Cayucos and shouts out “The Goonies” as his all-time favorite movie.

“I started writing in early 2000 because I knew I had something to say. I admired people getting up on stage and being the frontman. I’ve got a lot of energy and I want to steal the show, and I felt like music was an avenue to release this inner fucking voice that I had inside.”
