Kilo Tae is an independent rapper and songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland. Since moving to Santa Barbara in late 2020, Kilo Tae’s released over a dozen singles, two EPs, multiple @dstructive_filmz music videos, opened for @joemosesaob and @lilvadafc, and made connections within the grander Los Angeles music network. The Cancer has been making music for almost 5 years. Before rapping Kilo actually had an impressive football career as a standout athlete at Perry Hall High School (MD) and went on to play collegiately.
The name Kilo is actually a secret acronym—“Keep It Loyal Overall”—a phrase created and honored by his friend group back in The DMV area. Kilo tells UNDRGRND that in his free time he enjoys traveling, eating at @zaytoonsb in Santa Barbara, and watching The Dark Knight, The Hunger Games, and The Wire. His dream feature on a track would be Lil Wayne or Money Man.
