UNDRGRND Issue 4 “Sin City”
Las Vegas Profit is a California kid at heart. The 21-year-old was born in Seaside, Calif. and regularly bumps Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, and Ice Cube in his personal life. Before entering high school, his family relocated to Las Vegas, and it was in “Sin City” where he first began making music.
Profit is a Clark High School graduate and releases most of his music primarily on SoundCloud and YouTube. His most impressive track to date remains the fan-favorite “Beunos Dias,” however his recent drops “Fast Life” (feat. BabyFlock) and “See Me Now” (prod. 7teen) teased developing lyricsm with his unique Spanglish flow. Profit often records his own vocals, thanks to his home studio setup he’s named, “The Booth.” For his final engineer work, he’ll take his files to Vegas musician MixedBySinatra, a 702-based producer/engineer who also owns a popular recording studio on The Strip.
In July 2021, Profit made an impression on UNDRGRND’s 805 home crowd. He drove from Vegas to Thousand Oaks to perform at our Tarantula Hill Brew Co. “Bridge The Gap” showcase, alongside UNDRGRND legends Pofsky, BOBBYBEENFRESH, Rimi, vudu, Roger Wayne, and more. He has a baby daughter and works as a restaurant supervisor on the side.
