Lul AB (pron “Little A.B.”) is our first ever cover artist representing Tucson, Arizona! The graduate of Palo Verde High Magnet School has been making music for nearly five years, inspired by the sounds of Kidd Zeeno, Bad Bunny, Anuel AA, Lil Wayne, and Peso Pluma. Lul AB covers Issue 10 of UNDRGRND Magazine fresh off the release of his debut project, Proceed With Caution, which hit streaming markets in late 2023.

This past March, Lul AB opened for Compton’s Kalan.FrFr at the Tucson stop of the TwoFr University Tour. He’s also opened for Mike Sherm at Club XS in his home city, quickly gathering an impressive resume of live performance accolades. For production & engineering, he frequently uses Tucson producer Mario Bolanos, while he has also worked on some unreleased Spanish music with Palmdale, CA legend DJ Flippp. Lul AB is currently an independent artist working closely with Hellabandz Ent., and teases some “music videos and a Spanish EP” in the near future.

Aside from building his music career, Lul AB ’s an active entrepreneur, sports better, and basketball player. He tells UNDRGRND that his go-to restaurant is the Olive Garden (“the Zuppa Toscana is my favorite soup, bro”), and shouts out Coraline (2009) and This Is The End (2013) as his all-time favorite movies.
