MELROSExHILL is a Salvadoran-American rap duo raised in East Hollywood. We first tapped in with members BigBe! & Bornvet during our Issue 7: "Scenes Collide: Part II" promo run. Both rappers are Hollywood High alum, proud fathers, and can spit fire bars in both English & Spanish.
BigBe! (born Bryan Montano) started making music four years ago, and credits Big Pun & Terror Squad as his major music influences. The Sagittarius’ favorite movies are the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and shouts out @charliescovill, Grat Lakes, & Likewise as his go-to producers. BigBe! bartends on the side, and says he enjoys hitting Disneyland with his family in his free time.
Bornvet (born Kevin Bolaños) has been writing rhymes since a teenager, but started recording music professionally in 2020. Bornvet grew up on Big Pun, Evidence, Alchemist & Fat Joe — a similar early taste in style as his rap partner. The Scorpio passes time hitting batting cages & hooping, and tells UNDRGRND Magazine that his all-time favorite career moment was MELROSExHILL's performance at the Speak Live Lighter Fluid 4 in Downtown Los Angeles.
