GET TO KNOW: Mylan.TheParies (pron. "PEAR-EES") is a certified, all-around, undisputed entertainer. The 27-year-old Sacramento, CA-native derives his stage name from his birth date—March 20th—right on the Pisces and Aries cusp. Born Mylan Hightower II, Mylan.TheParies now resides in San Diego, CA, where he has been steadily releasing music for three years now.

For musical inspiration, Mylan credits Drake, Nipsey Hussle, Eric Bellinger, and Chris Brown amongst some of his top influences. He's dropped three singles so far in 2023, the most recent coming back in August—"96 Livin'"—featuring 96JAE. Also in August, Mylan got the chance to perform on "Daygo's Finest," a popular morning television show broadcasted on the CBS 8 San Diego local channel.

Mylan.TheParies stands out to UNDRGRND for his versatility as an entertainer. Not only is he proving himself as a solid recording artist, but Mylan also doubles as a talented actor, model, vlogger, and podcaster. Up until 2023, Mylan co-hosted the comedy/lifestyle/culture "The Toilet Paper" podcast. While Mylan has focused his efforts more recently towards his music career, over 40 episodes of The Toilet Paper Podcast are currently up on YouTube (10/10 would recommend).

Away from music, Mylan works three jobs—security, at the airport, and within the US Post Office system (shoutout Bfb Da Packman). He tells UNDRGRND Magazine that while he enjoys trying out new food spots, his favorite restaurant is Mom's Chicken & Waffles located in North Park in SD. A true Californian hip-hop head, his favorite movie of all time is the legendary "Friday" (1995).
