Papii Red is an artist who’s been around the UNDRGRND community since damn near the beginning. We were first ever introduced to Papii Red through Oxnard’s TyFighter (Issue 2), during peak Stu Crew era. The Libra was born in Whittier but raised in East LA. After a short stint living in The 805, Red now resides in the Riverside County area.
Papii Red has one of the more unique sounds in UNDRGRND lore — he credits XXXTentacion, ESTGee, The Strokes & System Of A Down as some of his biggest music influences. He also has a dope music video with @bings.visuals so check THAT out ASAP.
In his spare time, Red enjoys hitting Denny’s, gaming on the reg, and kicking it with his new dog. His favorite movie is How To Train Your Dragon, and he notes One Punch Man as his goated TV show.
